We take care with names, credits, plot details and other factual claims, and we make clear when a statement is an interpretation or judgment. Film analysis often involves different readings; we support our own with details readers can consider rather than claiming that one reading settles the matter.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are kept separate from partnership arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can tell what it is. A collaboration does not guarantee a favourable review, and we do not present paid material as independent criticism.

Corrections and illustrations

Readers can contact us with a specific correction and, where possible, the relevant article detail. We assess the point and amend material when an error is confirmed. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are treated as illustrations rather than evidence or documentary film stills.
